Beating an opponent: 1 on 1s and 2 on 1s tackleboxes

Описание к видео Beating an opponent: 1 on 1s and 2 on 1s tackleboxes

A few simple examples of how to beat a player in a 1 on 1 or a 2 on 1 situation. See below for more points regarding each move. #skills #FHAH #teamJDH

Double reverse jinx
The idea is that the first jinx commits the defender to lift his stick off the ground. Then the second tap in the air pushing the ball back down towards the ground. Ideally, aim for the other side of the defender or if you are in the D aim for their foot.

V drag
The aim of the V is to avoid any possible shave tackle and to open your body up for a pass or simply to go around the defender.

Left to right
You could add in an additionally feint but make sure to drop the shoulder down before you change direction to fully commit the defender

Reverse drag
This is particularly useful when you are on the move or running at high speeds. It is also different to the standard drag, so can catch defenders off guard.

2 on 1s
Make sure to commit the defender before giving the pass. Give the pass square or behind square so the defender cannot intercept it. Ideally, the second player takes the ball on the move, preventing the defender from getting across.
