Today, I check out the original "Hang-On" for the Sega Master System/Mark 3. Originally an arcade game, it later got a console port as one of the SMS's earliest launch titles, and was included on multiple releases. It was also included as a built-in game (when the console is turned on without a cartridge or card inserted) for the Western launch of the SMS, alongside "Safari Hunt".

A faithful adaptation of the arcade game and a decent game on its own, if a little bit limited and short. Its gameplay would be heavily expanded upon in its sequel, "Super Hang-On", particularly with its Sega Genesis/Mega Drive port. Not bad for a built-in game.
