This is the first installment of my Beginner Banjo Series, offered here on BanjoBenClark.com. I've decided to offer this full video for free, being that it's so important for everyone to learn. Even though this is the most "basic" element of being a banjo player, it is something that many pickers continue to get wrong. When done correctly, changing your strings can be enjoyable, and will make you a better player by improving your tone and tuning. In this video, we concentrate on changing your strings PROPERLY, what kind of strings to use, and stretching your new strings into playing shape.
