🇮🇱🇸🇾 For the second time this week, the IDF carried out a nighttime operation in Syria, arresting a cell operated by Iran’s Quds Force near Tel Qudna in the central sector, where an Israeli outpost is located in the Syrian security zone.

According to the IDF:
"In a special operation in southern Syria, Israeli army forces arrested an operational team linked to Iran’s Quds Force. The Alexandroni Brigade (3rd Brigade), in cooperation with field agents, carried out the overnight raid in the Tel Kodna area, targeting a team directed by Iran’s Quds Force.

This marks the second time in a week that Israeli forces have executed a precise nighttime operation, detaining several individuals deemed security threats in the region. The 210th Division remains deployed in southern Syria, continuing efforts to prevent any terrorist presence and to protect Israeli citizens.

According to the IDF, “We had another successful night of operations. We arrested an Iranian terror cell based on intelligence we received. We will not allow terrorist elements to entrench themselves in the area. We’ll operate day and night to prevent their presence. In addition to the suspects, we seized weapons and explosives”.

The operation involved the 474th Brigade and Unit 504, which specializes in field intelligence and agent recruitment in enemy territory. Weapons and grenades were confiscated during the arrests, which took place in the Umm al-Lux and Ain al-Batsali areas.

The IDF stressed that its forces will continue to operate in Syria to prevent Iranian-backed groups from establishing a foothold near the Israeli border and to ensure the safety of residents in the Golan Heights."
