Haoye 110mm run up

This is a Haoye V2 110mm 12 blade Ducted fan. This is an early test run using a Turnigy SK3 3968 1500Kv inrunner powered by a fresh 6s5Ah A-spec. Lipo. The controller used is a YGE (YEP) 6s 150 Amp with active freewheeling. The performance data is as follows:

Peak RPM: 22,680
Peak Current: 141.25 Amps
Total Watts: 3123 (4.2 H.P.)
Minimum volts under load: 22.1 (3.68 per cell)
Peak Thrust: 10.54Lbs. (4.78 Kg.)

This setup used a high kv motor on relatively low voltage (6s), hence the high amp draw. My preference is to use just the opposite (high volt low Kv) for lower current levels But for airframes where 6s batteries are needed this setup works.
