Meet Scott Held | Sherwood Park Dodge Jeep Chrysler Ram FIAT

http://askscott.ca/about-scott-held/ -- Scott Held was born in Northern Alberta but grew up in Whitehorse, Yukon. At age 16 he was washing cars at a local Ford dealership. By 19 he was selling cars part time while pursuing a business degree, eventually deciding to make the automotive business his career.

After selling vehicles in Northern B.C. for several years, Scott moved to Grande Prairie to join the Crosstown Motors Group. (Now AutoCanada). Over the next several years, he and wife Stephanie moved to accept new challenges within the rapidly growing group, including Moncton, N.B, Prince George, BC and eventually Edmonton as managing partner of Capital Dodge.

During this time, he worked as a finance manager, new vehicle sales manager, general sales manager, general manager and ultimately, Dealer Principal. Working in all of these positions gave Scott a wide range of experience in dealership operations.

In 2005 he left AutoCanada to pursue an upcoming new franchise opportunity in Edmonton, (Sherwood Park Dodge). In March of 2008, this brand new dealership opened it's doors as Canada's largest Dodge dealership. Since then Sherwood Park Dodge has been among the top ten Dodge Chrysler Jeep dealers in Canada every year. In 2011 it achieved the distinction of becoming the second highest volume dealer in Canada and the number one volume Dodge truck dealer in Canada.

Scott and his family currently live in Sherwood Park. He remains very active in the management of the dealership. Scott enjoys golf, hockey and snowboarding in his spare time, as well as coaching his son's hockey team.
