TASHKENT MAN MYSTERY! WHAT HAPPENED ON TASHKHANT? MYSTERIOUS MAN #netaji #Lalbahadurshastry

Well…this question has intrigued me. So I did some digging. This IS a controversial question though. It is believed that the Tashkent Man was our beloved #Netaji aka #Subhash Chandra Bose.

This picture was taken on 10 January, 1966 at the Indo-Pak Peace treaty at Tashkent, Russia ; the very treaty which ended the Indo-Pak war of 1965. It was hours after signing this treaty that the Indian Prime Minister #Lal Bahadur Shastri died mysteriously.

RIP #Shastri Ji.

Anyways, our main concern here is the encircled man. This man is infact the main centre of attention as he was an Indian present in almost all the photos yet the Indian Government was unable to disclose his identity ( it might have been a deliberate attempt, adding to the mystery of Bose's disappearance; or as the babu's say, it might have not been a deliberate attempt). Why did he not return to India? Does the government of India has the answer?

This man stirred up quite an interest amongst the Netaji researchers. According to Neil Miller, who has presented expert opinion in cases at UK high courts and the International Court of Justice in Hague, the face mapping of the Tashkent Man "lends support leaning on strong support to the contention that the person seen in the picture and #Subhas Chandra Bose are one and the same person".

The forensic face mapping was commissioned by former #Mission Netaji member and Dutch national of #Indian origin Siddhartha Satbhai. He sourced photographs and video footage from a variety of sources and had them analyzed by Miller.

Miller examined the evidence and then submitted a 62-page report where he noted that there were noticeable similarities in the facial features including ears, eyes, forehead, nose, lips and chin.

The Tashkent Man, in all the photos, appeared behind certain people and maintained distance from the cameras and it is believed that he was apparently being modest, i.e. not wanting to be exposed. He stirred up quite a controversy for a discreet man though.

It is believed that had Shastri Ji been alive, he might have disclosed the identity of this mysterious man; the man being Bose indeed. This is because he allegedly called his family members hours before his death saying that on returning to India, he would disclose something really big that would move the Opposition and the whole country. This might have been related to his meeting with Netaji.

Well…Netaji might have secretly survived the plane crash, as alleged, and decided to surprise everyone at Tashkent, OR it just might be his ghost!! Who Knows, Caz this world is indeed a strange place!!
