Apples with George the Farmer

Описание к видео Apples with George the Farmer

Join George the Farmer and his mates Simone and Ben as they investigate how apples are grown! You'll be amazed at the incredible technology used to ensure we have access to delicious, crispy apples year round — just like the fresh apples that the team uses in the kitchen to create an easy apple turnover.

Would you like to see more apple technology up close? Check out our accompanying virtual reality (VR) video available on the FarmVR app or on YouTube:    • George the Farmer - Apples VR

An accompanying curriculum-aligned educators guide for Foundation - Year 4 students will be available from August 16. Check our website for further details.

This project is supported by the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment, through funding from the Australian Government's Educating Kids about Agriculture initiative.

A big George the Farmer thank you to the Apple and Pear Growers Association of South Australia and Primary Producers SA.

And don't forget to check out George the Farmer's fun picture storybook all about apples called, 'Hailstorm Heroes': https://www.georgethefarmer.com.au/co... ++ "A freak hailstorm puts the season’s apple harvest under a cloud of uncertainty. Will the fruit go to waste or will the Farmer family come up with a solution to save the apples?"
