Heey Everybody. Did you get the particle filter additive level too low warning light in your Citroen DS3 or DS4? Then let me tell you there is nothing to worry about guys, it is such an easy and cheap fix, that you can definitely do it yourself. First of all you want to locate the particle filter additive reservoir. By the way it goes by the names of PAT fluid and Eolys fluid, which is better known as AD blue in modern vehicles. So it is on the right hand side of your car if you stand in front of the car. Why am I saying this? Because you may have a left hand drive or right hand drive car, and this way I can make the things easier to understand. So lift the car as you see in the video and the reservoir should be just next to the exhaust system by the end of it covered with heat shields. No, you don’t have to remove the reservoir as I did in order to fill it up. I just did it for better demonstration purposes. It is enough if you connect your refill kit to the reservoir and hang it up or hold it high while letting the fluid get into the reservoir which I am going to show you in a second. So here is the kit and the instructions. It is pretty simple and straightforward. Once you got it connected hook it up to your DPF fluid reservoir. Then all you have to do is wait till all of the fluid from the kit gets in to the reservoir. You should lift it as high as you can and let the gravity does it job. You can help it by pumping the container. Once you are done you have to let the ECU that you have done the job. Unfortunately the only way is to do it is through a diagnostic tool such as the Autel MK908 as far as I know. If you know otherwise let me know in the comments section below. So hoop up your diagnostic tool which is capable of reprogram some stuff in the ECU. Select your make and model and get to the menu point where you can update the level of the fluid. Remember you have to enter the amount in millilitres, in our case we filled up exactly 1liter which is 1000 millilitres. So you have to type in 1000 then hit OK. And you are done. Thanks for watching. I hope I could help with this DIY. If you need any further help, don’t hesitate to ask you question in the comments section. See you in the next one. Bye.
