Best Mics - Making your Neumann TLM-103 Sound Like a U87

This video explains my choice of mics from the beginner phase to the advanced phase of home recording, as well as how to transform a Neumann TLM-103 into a Neumann U87.
**CORRECTION! 'Unidirectional' means the mic is capable of receiving a signal from only one direction, whereas 'Omnidirectional' means the mic is able to receive signals from ALL directions. Therefore, the mics showcased in this video are all 'Unidirectional'.**

It should be evident from the background noise in this video that you should not be running any type of air-conditioning or fan during a recording session.
