Debunking Jeremy Schneider's Claim that IUL’s are a Scam

Jeremy Schneider recently produced a post that was provocatively titled, "Is IUL a Scam? Yes." Let's put his claim under the microscope. He "retired" at 36 with a net worth of 4 million. He compares investing in an IUL vs. an index fund. And like many other comparisons I've critiqued, they keep treating an IUL like it's supposed to replace all other investments. While I’ve never said it's supposed to be a stock market replacement, it can serve as an effective bond alternative. Let's dive further.
