We have shown the elaborated process of Idol making techniques of Kumortuli artisans.
Durga puja is one the biggest event in Kolkata, more like a big festival. The unbelievable amount of hard work the arts and the workers do through out the year to make thousands of Durga Idols and many more deities, is marvelous. We wanted to show, rather to make everyone aware of the hard work they do and finish up the Idols before puja, to keep the tradition of Durga Puja festival alive in Kolkata and out side of Kolkata.
