Trail of Ten Falls

Silver Falls, situated in the lush Willamette Valley, is one of the crown jewels of the Oregon State Parks. It features a remarkable cluster of 10 thunderous waterfalls within an 8-mile loop, the Trail of Ten Falls. Join me on this beautiful and exhilarating hike as I walk over, under, and behind the raging falls. As a bonus, I hit the trail at the best time of year, late March, with winter’s abundant snow accumulation and rainfall. I had a mostly sunny day, waiting out a bit of morning rain and enjoying a cup of coffee at the park's South Falls Lodge, right at the trailhead, before the hike.

Silver Falls is an Oregon State Park. Parking permits are $5.
