Joe West delivering another wonderful atmospheric performance on this 1967 Gretsch Country Gentleman plugged directly into a 1964 Fender Vibroverb.

We have several of these Country Gentlemen in stock. Designed by Gretsch for Chet Atkins and further popularised by the likes of George Harrison of the Beatles, the Gretsch 6122 Country Gentleman is a fabulous guitar. Many argue that the Gretsch Filtertron pickups offer the best of both worlds - the hum cancelling quiet and big sounds of the Gibson Humbucker, and the clear, crystalline highs of the Fender Single Coil. We think Joe makes a pretty good case for how great these things can sound. Don't you?
