The place where new talent from the East of the Netherlands is given a stage! Musicians can gain knowledge about the world of music and the business behind it. Artists from Overijssel and Gelderland who have been selected for Booster present their music to music professionals from all over the Netherlands. You will see some of these artists again on April 1 with their own show in the city center of Enschede! Entrance is free.

▸ Duikvlucht

'Duikvlucht is the brand new duo of Yonga Sun (drums and modular synthesizer) and Johanneke ter Stege (vocals and keys). The two know each other from an improvisation project and built on the inspiring interplay in Johanneke's debut performance Coins to dive between sharks (2019), to which corona abruptly made an end.

Where Yonga gives depth to Johanneke's lyrics and melodies with his beats and sounds, she indicates the emotional direction of the music. The result is a dynamic cross-pollination with influences from Wende, Björk and Spinvis.
