Theme: What would loss feel like?

With the loss of something or someone important comes a whole plethora of emotions: anger, exhaustion, debilitating sadness, and just wanting to escape what reality has presented you with. This song cycles through all kinds of thoughts and emotions of a person who has felt loss and is struggling to simply live. Their loss has left them trapped between living and dying, just floating through every day both in excruciating pain, but also helpless numbness. They wish for salvation to come; for someone, /anyone/ to take their hand and help them up; to be able to just run away, forget, escape everything around them, and simply sleep.
