This is my favorite North Scottsdale mountain bike trail. Start from the Windgate Trail Center through DC Ranch, Silverleaf and Mcdowell Mountain Ranch up to Windgate Pass with some of the best scenery and panoramic views of Scottsdale. Start at the trail center and take Desert Park Trail over to Windgate Pass, and then up to Inspiration Point and back down through Windgate Pass. If you are feeling up to it, go up to the Windgate Pass Saddle (1.5 miles from Inspiration Point).
