The Effect of China's Growing Interest in Saudi Arabia on USA । Middle East Geopolitics

Recently, China’s President Xi Jinping was on a visit to Gulf countries. During his visit, he met the leaders of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait. Jinping’s visit to Saudi Arabia is being seen as a breach in the US bastion. Furthermore, the politics of the Middle East is expected to intensify due to Jinping’s visit to Gulf countries. China is a good ally of Iran. Hence, Saudi Arabia's rival Iran will not be pleased with this visit of Jinping. A meeting of the China-Gulf Cooperation Council was also held during this Jinping’s visit. Iran got anguished by the joint statement issued by China and Saudi Arabia after this meeting.
