Embedding cooperation - Enhancing French-Belgian Railway Connectivity

Embedding is about cooperation between EU Member States beyond Cohesion Policy Interreg programmes.
Check out the French-Belgian railway project where the two countries teamed up and used the European Regional Development Fund, Connecting Europe Facility Funds and the national budgets to implement a common project. This initiative connects the Belgian dry port of Athus to the French rail network, eliminating detours and streamlining transport from the North Sea to Southern Europe.
