Final Fantasy IX: Lani [Hard Mode-No Shared Abilities/Gear-No Deaths]

Lani boasts decent damage potential now, with her physical attacks and wide variety of spells. Unfortunately, she's rather single minded and will usually just gun for one person at a time. That first person is Dagger, but after she has taken a certain amount of damage, she will counter a physical attack and say "What do you think you're doing?!". This is her tell she's switched target. As we know who Lani is going to attack, we can inflict Darkness on her and cast Reflect on that person to render them almost invulnerable to her attacks.

The only things we have to watch out for are her Aera and AoE Water, the former of which is not actually a spell, so cannot be reflected.
