CONSIDER THIS WHEN PLANNING YOUR WATER FEATURE
When planning your backyard waterfall, it's vitally important to maintain the appropriate ratio of height to pond size. If a waterfall is designed too tall, it will overshadow the pond, too short and it will blend into the pond. If you plan on keeping fish in your pond, you'll want to use a liner as opposed to a concrete pond. A concrete pond will have too many fluctuations in the pH balance making it difficult to provide a healthy environment for fish. Designing your waterfall with a larger overhang will allow the water sound to amplify, and the higher the waterfall the louder then sound as it hits the pond.
