Philippines Province House - This is NOT what we expected!!

After arriving in the Philippines we bought a little scooter and then went to check out our house here in San Vicente, Ilocos Sur (just outside of Vigan City) in the Philippines. In this video you'll see just a glimpse of what confronted us when we went to the house for the first time... it wasn't good!! The house had been left in a very poor condition. This set the scene for the next week... cleaning, repairing, replacing... making the house safe and habitable and then moving into the "making it a home" phase.
The big question is: has this experience left a bad taste in our mouths and changed our minds about living here? Do we regret buying this house? Stay to the end to find out the answer.

We are Kim and Kyle a FilOz couple with an age gap. We currently live in Australia but have a "second home" in Ilocos Sur, The Philippines. We are expecting our first child in March 2024, we make these videos to document our life both in Australia and in the Philippines, primarily for our child but also to inform and entertain you.
