Bhairav(राग भैरव) Aalap and Taan Tutorial for Juniors

This tutorial is for the beginners or who have some basic knowledge of swar. Once Aaroh Avroh of the Raag are established, with Rishabh and Dhaivat Komal and rest all shuddha Swars becomes the Raag Bhairav. The interactive session with students, provides a great means for viewers to sing along and practice reading the swar sequences displayed on the screen. The step by step Aalaps to highlight the features of the Raag is done in the first session. The Taans start next with Alankaric Taans of 2,3 and 4 swar combinations each in the Raag Bhairav, applying the swar used in this Raag. Then Saral Taans from different swar is little tricky for the beginners. Similarly, the Paltas from a particular swar and going to kharj and back again, gives a good learning experience which helps increase the voice range in kharj and also in Tar Saptak. Such regular practice helps you gain full control over the Raag.
