Sophie - April 27, 2020 - August 28, 2024

Our sweet, beloved Sophie died far too soon at age 4 years four months. She packed a full lifetime of memories into her brief time with us. She was a certified “bark patroller” for Jefferson County Open Space and also patrolled various state parks in the Denver area. She was a friend to all and loved greeting people everywhere she went. She and her favorite companion Ryder spent hundreds of hours together. Our dear mailman made Sophie his friend by bringing her treats almost every day; she eagerly awaited his arrival. She visited my mother at assisted living and made the staff and other residents smile. We will miss Sophie terribly, but are grateful that she was a part of our lives. ‪@jcosandparks‬ ‪@ColoradoParksandWildlife‬
