These initiatives include strengthening the rule of law, economic developments and stronger diplomatic ties with Africa as a whole. The EU has clarified its position towards the Zimbabwe sanctions and its assistance to the Kingdom of Lesotho as it implements the national reforms, following the regional body SADC's recommendation.
