living in mexico for three weeks

In January I was informed I would be spending 3 weeks visiting my family and living with them in Mexico in August. I was so thrilled at first, but as the year continued and I started finding my place in life I became more hesitant and anxious to leave the new stability I had worked so hard to find. Because of this, my excitement and thrill leading up to the trip turned into dread, and excuses to get out of it. I stepped very far out of my comfort zone, but quickly found my place again. I can safely say that it’s okay to step out of your comfort zone to enjoy a new experience. It’s okay to like something even if you are a little afraid of it.
