یہ اپنی مرضی سے سوچتا ہے، اِسے اُٹھا لو !
اُٹھانے والوں سے کچھ جدا ہے، اِسے اُٹھا لو !

وہ بےادب اِس سے پہلے جن کو اُٹھا لیا تھا
یہ اُن کے بارے میں پوچھتا ہے، اِسے اُٹھا لو !

جنہیں اُٹھانے پہ ہم نے بخشے مقام و خلعت
یہ اُن سیانوں پہ ہنس رہا ہے، اِسے اُٹھا لو !

اِسے کہا تھا جو ہم دکھائیں بس اُتنا دیکھو !
مگر یہ مرضی سے دیکھتا ہے، اِسے اُٹھا لو !

یہ پوچھتا ہے کہ اَمن ِ عامہ کا مسئلہ کیوں؟
یہ امن ِ عامہ کا مسئلہ ہے، اِسے اُٹھا لو !

سوال کرتا ہے یہ دیوانہ ہماری حد پر
یہ اپنی حد سے گزر گیا ہے، اِسے اُٹھا لو !

ye un ke baare main puchta hai isy utha lo

jinhen uthaane pe hum ne bakhshe maqam o khilat
ye un seyaanon pe hans raha hai isy utha lo

isay kaha tha jo hum dikhaaen bas utna dekho
magar ye merzi se dekhta hai isy utha lo

ye puchta hai ke aman e aaman ka masla kiyun?
ye aman e aaman ka masla hai isy utha lo

sawal karta hai io deewana humari had par
ye had se guzar gaya hai isy utha lo
