Assalamualikum to all my Lovely Viewers

Arabic Bread is very authentic bread recipe in Middle East! People all over the world love to enjoy these small circle shaped soft Arabic breads with any type of grills or BBQ or even shawarma.

So here Im sharing a very simple and easy recipe to make your day happier and enjoy these delicious pita bread at home with no much effort.


Ingredients
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1.5 tsp instant or active dry yeast
• Pinch of salt
• 1.5 Cup Patent Flour
• 1 to 1.5 Cups water – Lukewarm
• 2-3 tsp melted butter for final brushing over the pita bread
• 1 tsp any dry herb to sprinkle for flavour.

COOKING & INSTRUCTIONS

Take a nice Clean Bowl.

Add Flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
(note: if you are using dry yeast, kindly activate the yeast by adding lukewarm water to the yeast-once it turns frothy – your yeast is activated and ready to be added to the flour).

Combine all these ingredients well together.

Now gradually add warm water to make sticky and gooey dough.

Sprinkle some flour on the compartment and knead 1-2 minutes, until the dough is soft smooth.

Transfer the dough to a lightly greased bowl and cover with a towel or greased plastic wrap. Let the dough rise until doubled, about an hour or so, depending on the warmth of your kitchen.

Once the Dough is doubled up.
Turn the dough onto a lightly greased surface and knead for 2-3 minutes.

Now roll the dough into a thick diameter. And divide the dough into 8 equal portions.

Take each portion and roll onto your palms and make soft balls.

Now roll each dough ball by sprinkling some flour over the compartment and roll the dough using a rolling pin until you get a 2mm thickness circle shaped.

Now place the rolled breads on to the baking tray.

Cover with kitchen towel, and let the breads rise until puffy and nearly doubled in size, about an hour or 2.
Preheat the oven to 250*c and make sure an oven rack is in the center position. You must ensure that both the grills – top and bottom grills -- are on with fan * rotation mode.
Bake for 10-15 minutes at 250*C until the breads puff up and baked through.
Remove from the oven and brush some melted butter over the pita breads and sprinkle some herbs over before serving.
Now you can enjoy the freshly bake Pita breads with AL BAKERS Patent Flour.
We can serve these pita breads with shawarma filling or falafel filling, along with BBQ or Grills. Along with Arabic Hummus or Garlic Paste.
