Same family owns this establishment for more than 150 years. What a lovely hotel and staff, not too mention restuarant with local dishes. Zur Krone is also very affordable. Our Zimmer 26 is a literal apartment for the price of a single room in many Dutch or American hotels! Very clean and comfortable and with great views of Eschwege.

We were researching Casper Dilling, a Hessian fighting solider who is the roots of our family name. We always wanted to get to Germany and see what we could find and it was no let-down! Hessen, Germany is beautiful and the people very helpful and friendly.
