Digimon Online (디지몬 온라인) (CCR, x2Game, 2002) gameplay 1

So this is a bit of a different video.

Digimon Online is a game that is more or less unknown to the western audience. There are probably about 5 people total that know about it, and I had people try to research the game because it's a Digimon game and they wanted to learn anything they can when it comes to Digimon.

Digimon Online is a very short lasted game by CCR, who is very known for their very popular game Fortress2.

This game plays indeed kinda similar to Fortress2, but at the same time is extremely different and quite unique actually!

For starters, you have a full evolution system. Also, you can jump! This has to be the first turn-based shooter fortress2/Gunbound that I know of that has a jump button I think. Pretty cool and neat.

There are a lot of other things, which you can see in the video.

Excuse my struggle with the interface.. I do not speak or understand Korean, and unlike Fortress2 the buttons are not in English at all, making it blindly what I am pressing.

On top of that, the physics are once again different over Fortress2. The wind is extremely strong, and it takes a good amount of practice to master it if I had to guess. I definitely struggle here :x Hitting the very first shot was pure luck.

How am I playing this? A group of friends unrelated to my friend that did GunBound stuff found a client of this I believe about a year ago, and now they created a server emulator to support it. Very similar situation to how some of Softnyx's old games got preserved by me and my other friend.
