One of clients has an outstanding opportunity for seasoned pre-sales oriented Security Sales Engineer. Our client is a global leader the cyber security industry (1B public company; OEM). They’ve developed security solutions designed to meet the needs of the most demanding F500 enterprise customers – to help protect them against disruptions in availability, performance, and security. Their solutions provide real-time, pervasive visibility, detection and mitigation to address the challenges of a constantly changing threat landscape.
The Role:
What they are looking for is a Security Sales Engineer to work with Enterprise Customers in the Central Region to handle pre-sales engineering as well as proof of concepts (PoC). This role is for a technical resource that can position, design and implement solutions and demonstrate their extensive capabilities in order to help close potential sales. It is a dynamic and exciting role. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter experts in a wide range of security disciplines including DDoS and NDR.

Qualifications:
Must have 5+ years experience in pre-sales engineering – with experience in NDR and DDoS solutions for enterprise clients
Must have a good understanding of most of the following:
MITRE ATT&CK framework,
today’s modern security landscape
BGP FlowSpec, NDR XDR, EDR, SOAR
Routing and switching, routing protocols, networking topologies (LAN, WAN, MPLS, etc.)
Selling software solutions
network security, cloud security, trend analysis, Kills Chains,
Packet Analysis / Sniffer,
Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) like Threat Quotient.
Hands on technical experience with Incident Response -IR
Must have excellent communications skills, customer facing skills, and great teaming skills.
Must be able to travel approximately up to 20% (within the region).
