A few months back I did a review on the Ibanez gio GRG131DX and a lot of people seem to love this guitar. You either had one or were thinking of getting one. I had a pair of EMG retro active hot 70's laying around and I was curious how they would sound in this guitar would it improve the sound ? would it turn a $229 guitar into a more gig worthy instrument?

DISCLAIMER - I was experimenting with a new ring light and haven't yet dialed the settings in so the lighting is kind of all over the place.
