This is my video about my photo story of the Blackpool Fans home-coming to Bloomfield road after years of boycott from their owners.

Here is my interview with 19 year old Black pool fan Max Jenkinson.

The Oyston's weren't always the enemy. In fact, in 1987 they saved the club by buying it for £1! Something most of us like to forget. However it was following our Premier League relegation that the fans' problems with the Oystons really came to breaking point. We saw our club promoted to the Premier League only to fall right back down again, ending up back in League 2 before we knew it. Many fans put this down to the lack of interest shown by the Oystons. It seemed that there was no money being invested in the club, despite the success that we had in previous seasons. We earned promotion to the premier league and started the following season with nothing to show for it. Where was the money going?

 After being relegated from the Premier League, the Oyston Out campaign made headlines, with protests and pitch invasions becoming a regular occurance. The Oystons didn't listen though, throwing fancy lawyers and five figure fines in damages to fans who spoke out online. As we plummeted through the divisions the Oystons became a household name for football fans across the country... for all the wrong reasons. Soon we had our opposing fans turning up to games with Oyston Out banners and joining protests outside our ground.

All of this seemed to be in vain until former Blackpool chairman Valori Belokon launched a long-winded court case against the Oystons, which eventually resulted in the Oystons being fined £40,000. Fans thought this would finally be the end. That the Oystons would sell their shares in the club in order to pay off the courts, but the Oystons didn't pay up. The club eventually went into the hands of court-appointed receivers, and there have been several names thrown around for potential new buyers. The Oystons are out and we have our club back, showing that the football community has the power to make real change. Next season the club will begin to rebuild, but for now we'll just enjoy our the remainder of the season as an Oyston-free club!
