Work Readiness Training University Documentary 2024: Columbus Urban League Work Readiness Youth Programs Ohio

The Columbus Urban League Work Readiness Training University (WRTU) served 417 youth in the summer of 2024 with 335 receiving internship placements. The film was debuted at the Lennox Theatre in Columbus Ohio with nearly 300 attendees. The attendees participated in interactive activities including prevention-based trivia, a live DJ, a photo booth, a student panel, and a special greeting from President Stephanie Hightower. At the conclusion of the event, school and mindfulness supplies were distributed. Thank you to the Franklin County Board Commissioners, for funding the program. The content creation team from Work Readiness Training University was instructed by Mr. Leon of R.O.S. Built who also served as filmmaker, editor, and director.
