Cut the yarn leaving a few inches for finishing off. Pull out the loop. Use a yarn needle to pick up the FLO of the remaining 8 stitches, pulling tight along the way. Then hide the yarn through the piece and trim the excess.

R25: (Sc 2, Dec) x8 [24]

Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for attaching to the head. Pull out the loop. Stuff the piece firmly. We will stuff a little extra when sewing to the head.

Arms (make 2)
Using Green, make a slip knot and Ch 2, Sc 8 in 2nd Ch from hook,
R1: Inc x8 [16]
R2-8: Sc around [16] (7 rounds)

Cut the yarn leaving enough for sewing in. Pull out the loop and set aside.

Legs (make 2)
Using Green, make a slip knot and Ch 2, Sc 8 in 2nd Ch from hook,
R1: Inc x8 [16]
R2-6: Sc around [16] (5 rounds)

Cut the yarn leaving enough for sewing in. Pull out the loop and set aside.

Assembly
Begin by stuffing each of the petals lightly, then position and pin the petals around the flower face (making sure not to flatten the petals, they should be circular on the opening). Sew in each of the petals making sure there is enough space all the way around. Knot and hide the tails through the piece once the petals have been sewn in, then trim all the tails at the end.

Put in the face details by gluing in the safety eyes and embroidering the cheeks and mouth.

Make sure the glue dries before continuing

Sew in the body to the lower area of the flower face. The seam should be around the bottom petal seam. Stuff a little extra before sewing in completely. Finish sewing then knot and hide the yarn. Trim the excess.

Finally position and sew in the arms and legs. The arms should be positioned so they are as close to the seam of the flower face while still remaining visible in between the petals.
The legs are positioned as a support to prevent your flower from falling over.
