Spear Cobless Setup | Roof Endless

Описание к видео Spear Cobless Setup | Roof Endless

Setup by me (I did not create the idea though)

This is definitely the most difficult cobless setup I've ever played. If this was on the cobless skill rating standard (https://www.bilibili.com/read/cv16510468 ), this setup would go right at the very top above everything else.

To understand how difficult this is, I would say that the jump from day group-gloom to roof group-gloom is around the same as the jump from roof group-gloom to this.

This throws everything at you; Ultra precise doom-shroom placements, extremely low dps, ultra precise flower pot management, tempo is extremely variable, so much pumpkin cannon fodder, tons of unslowed gigas, etc. Gigas just simply don't die in this setup no matter what you do.

Sequence: Card 4, (Jala) + Doom | Imitator Doom | Squash + Ice | Cherry + (Jala)
The jalapeno is placed either on the doom wave or on the cherry wave depending on whether the cherry spawned the next wave. You have to hope the cherry doesn't spawn the next wave so you can use jala on the cherry wave and then doom when the next wave spawns in. You also gotta hope the cherry wave doesn't take too long so the gigas can't reach your plants.

Double ice works for this setup but it's against the rules for some reason idk this setup is intended to be played with double doom

Crater sequence (brackets mean imitator): 4-9, (4-7), 2-9 (super precise without perfect pause if you have to place it when the wave spawns in), (2-7), 2-8, (4-6), 4-8 and then repeat starting from the (4-7) doom. The imitator dooms are 100% safe from gigas but I have had them blown up by jacks.

This spear cobless was also created by me. 2 winter melons on row 3 and 1 winter melon on the rest of the rows makes this unstable asf but there's nothing I could do. 1 fume on each side is highly unstable against jacks and I wanted to have more than 5 twins. The empty space at 2-1 technically isn't necessary but my flower pot skills aren't good enough to play without it.

Threats-
Gigas- Extremely low dps so gigas can't really be dealt with well. I made it look sorta easy in the video but that's because my giga density was strangely low. Row 3 gigas constantly smash the front gloom on the doom-shroom waves, rows 1/5 gigas are always unslowed and they always want to smash the fumes. Rows 2/4 gigas are completely harmless.

Zombonies- They create zomboni trails which make the setup 1000x harder. You can't stall any of the gigas because 99% of the map is filled by zomboni trails and you have to use jalapenos to clear up the trails to place doom-shrooms.
Row 3 requires an instant every wave but that's surprisingly not a huge deal. However, on the imitator doom wave, they REALLY want to crush the front gloom. It is possible to blow up the imitator doom without removing the pumpkin on the front gloom but I was too slow in the video. No zomboni spawned on row 3 though so the pumpkin was safe.

Jacks- This has really good jack suppression especially because of the double fumes on rows 1 and 5. The column 7 gloom isn't 100% safe but it's pretty close. However, jacks can blow up instants like dooms or squashes if you get too unlucky. Jacks weren't a huge issue though.

Gargs- This setup actually takes effort to deal with gargantuars. That's how you know its bad.

Imps/Footballs- I clumped these 2 together because they both have the same issue. Footballs and imps on rows 2/3/4 are harmless but footballs and imps on rows 1/5 are built different bro. The winter melons on those rows are forced to be placed on column 1 because imps will land on column 2 and no gloom reaches it. Because of this, the melons have to do all of the work and the imps clog up all the melons. Plus, even when there aren't any imps, the melons are being clogged by the 80 trillion footballs eating the pumpkin on column 4. This means that any gigas/gargs on rows 1 or 5 aren't getting slowed back down constantly. They are highly likely to speed up and reach the pumpkin asap.

Overall, this is absolutely a limit setup. Sun loss isn't bad but good luck playing giga+zomboni rounds consistently. Sometimes, the gigas just crush your plants and there's absolutely nothing you could've done about it. If you could add more melons, this setup would work fine but 1 melon per row is too unstable.
