Neel Ganga is a project in which the music of the Nile meets the music of the Ganges. It also shows how the music is transferred not only across continents but also across generations; from the Kawala maestro from Egypt, Ahmed Al-Arnab and the Sitar maestro from India, Rabindra Goswami to their disciples Adham Al-Sayyad and KG Westman respectively. Accompaniment supporting both traditions is provided by international acclaimed tabla player Heiko Dijker.
