I’m back in Scotland to take on the legendary NC500, the North Coast 500 route around the Scottish Highlands, but with a twist. Starting in Inverness, I am attempting to complete the entire 500-mile loop in just 24 hours on an electric motorcycle. This journey is full of epic landscapes, historic castles, dramatic coastlines, hidden gems, charging challenges, and plenty of unexpected moments along the way. From the fairytale Dunrobin Castle to the northern tip at John o’ Groats, remote harbors, secret caves, and winding highland roads, this ride shows Scotland in its most breathtaking form. Along the way I share the realities of traveling by EV in the Highlands, including charging stops, crowded tourist spots, the risk of running out of battery, and the freedom of the open road.
This adventure is also about personal milestones: celebrating a birthday, saying goodbye to Candy after a month of riding together, and looking ahead to future journeys across Estonia, Scandinavia and Africa.
