This video is mostly about how to turn the sides of a placemat, whariki or wall hanging type item. As with all my videos, it is aimed at people who have woven before. The Material used here is Harakeke/NZ Flax/Phormium Tenax but this can be made with other pliable and flat materials such as cardboard, plastic, bark or pandanus.
