Gilgal Garden is one of the MOST UNIQUE places to visit in Salt Lake City, Utah. A product of Thomas Child Jr.'s creativity, Gilgal Garden is FULL of symbolic statues, carvings, and...well...just a lot of random pieces of art.

When planning your visit to Salt Lake City, carve in some time (hehe...see what I did there?) to include a stop by Gilgal Garden. Not only is the garden FREE, but it offers a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of downtown.

Something to note, because there are a LOT of conspiracy theorists out there: this garden is NOT sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons). Thomas Child Jr. was a practicing member during his lifetime and many sculptures reference his beliefs. Don't be confused. Open your mind to the beauty of art, expression, and a guy that did something about it!
