"If they cannot coexist as two, they must become one." – this quote and episode 3 preview inspired me to make this arranged marriage daemyra au! Idk how or why, but making manips and trope scenarios for these two is just so much fun haha

I managed to cram enemies-to-lovers, arranged marriage, rivals for the throne, feral jealousy from both sides when they see each other with different people and BABY AEGON in the span of 2 minutes, so I'm definitely patting myself on the back lmao

Short video summary: Daemon and Rhaenyra view each other as rivals for the Iron throne. Viserys I decides to make them marry, so no dispute can start over the succession after he passes (if only he was this smart in the book/show jsjfhhf). They do get married, realize they are attracted to one another and consummate the marriage. But live separate lives because they don't like being forced into their situation aka the marriage. That is until Daemon, as chaotic as he is, informs Rhaenyra that he intends to get married again. She pulls up on a dragon and lays into him. Chaos ensues. When Rhaenyra doesn't bite, he returns to King's Landing only to be told they're having a baby. That changes things for both of them, and they slowly start falling in love. I wanted to leave the ending hopefully since saints know they could use a happy ending.
