Hardcore hardtails are rapidly gaining in popularity across Oz and for good reason, they're bloody fun to ride! It's widely thought that by doing away with a rear shock the riding experience that hardtails boast is a lot more 'pure' to the roots of real MTB. When you hit a proper trail on a hardtail it forces you not to be complacent or lazy, you really have to pilot the bike and pick your lines. There can be no denying that riding a hardtail makes you a much more skilled rider. With all that said and done, we've recently spent a bunch of time testing the new 'Stoic' from Canyon Bikes.
