There is no way I would still be sober and happy today without taking responsibility for my life and the choices I have made and continue to make in my life. For me responsibility means no one else is to blame for my feelings or my actions. I have learned to stop pointing fingers by owning my shit. Doing so has helped me embrace the reality that I am all beauty. Flaws and all. I believe life is a journey of discovery toward true unconditional love of self . Which comes over time as we learn to forgive. Self and others. I believe the pain we experience in life is meant to fuel us to embrace the change of becoming who we were truly born to be. Freeing ourselves from the bondage of the past we become living breathing walking proof that there is a way out and that change can happen with the honest desire to do so.
