Slapping the phasing sequence special effect on cytoscramblers makes them do an amusing amount of hull damage to a shielded target. Additionally, since cytoscramblers have their hull damage throttled by their super-low armour piercing factor (1), applying corrosive to an un-shielded target (which adds 20 armour piercing to all incoming attack) allows you to do damage there, too! Yay synergy!
