We Hauled Stinkpot Out Today!

Today was the first time Stinkpot has been out of the water (except for the Big Chute Railway Lock in Canada) in over a year. Now that we're back in saltwater, we needed to replace the sacrificial zinc anodes (which prevent corrosion of important stuff like propellers, rudders, and other metal parts of the boat), and we took the opportunity to do an inspection and pressure wash the bottom. She's nice and clean now and good to go for a long time!

We did this at a small boatyard in Gautier, Mississippi called Pitalo's Marine. They did a fantastic job, and the haulout was a fraction of the cost that it would be anywhere else. We highly recommend them.
