• IntuBrite handle comes in 3 different sizes and is made primarily of aluminum. IntuBrite blades are available in a wide range of sizes and constructed of medical grade stainless steel.
• A unique feature of IntuBrite is the blend of Ultraviolet and white light from the Dual LEDs. This blend helps improve airway clarity and definition without increasing glare.
• With any size combination, it is extremely important that the blade and handle are properly engaged. We use the “2 click method”
• When you first place the blade on the handle you want to hear the “1st click” so you know it’s firmly in place.
• As you move the blade into position to engage the light, you want to hear the “2nd click”
• Listening for the 2 clicks will help ensure the bulbs in the blade are securely engaged to the power source in the handle for proper function
• If you don’t hear the 2 clicks, the light may still come on but the connection is not secure and it could cause the light to flicker.
• The heel of the blade should also be almost flush with the handle.
