KTM RC 390 Highlights
KTM has introduced a new colour variant for the RC 390 BS6. The new Metallic Silver paint job is available at no extra price premium. Check out the new colour scheme here. That said, the bike now uses MRF tyres instead of the stickier compound Metzeler Sportec M5’s. Here's why.

KTM RC 390 Price:
The KTM RC 390 BS6 is priced at Rs 2,53,184 (ex-showroom Delhi). The BS6 update has also brought with it a new black colour scheme which is the only option available on the RC 390.

KTM RC 390 Features:
The KTM RC 390 hasn’t received too many updates over the course of its life but it still continues to be a well-equipped motorcycle even today. It gets twin-projector headlights, all-digital LCD instrumentation, dual-channel ABS, a slipper clutch and ride-by-wire technology.

KTM RC 390 Engine:
The liquid-cooled DOHC 373.2cc single-cylinder engine powering the KTM RC 390 is now BS6-compliant but retains its output figures of 43.5PS and 35Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch and drive is sent to the rear wheel via a chain.

KTM RC 390 Suspension & Brakes:
The RC 390 has razor sharp handling thanks to its competent underpinnings. The bike is held together by a KTM-signature trellis frame suspended on a USD fork and preload-adjustable monoshock, both from WP. Braking hardware is also commendable: a 320mm/230mm disc brake combo assisted by dual-channel ABS. As a result of the BS6 updates, dry weight has gone up by 2kg to 149kg.

KTM RC 390 Rivals:
The fully-faired sportsbike segment in this displacement range also features offerings like the Kawasaki Ninja 300, Benelli 302R and TVS Apache RR 310. For the price of a KTM RC 390, you could also buy yourself a KTM Duke 390, Honda CB300R or Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
