Ngoya developed interest for business after spending most of his time at Kongowea market in Mombasa.

Eventually he got an opportunity and ventured into the business of selling fruits.

Through his colleagues at the market, he got introduced to a chama and through the Pamoja group loan from Equity which offers financing to chamas or groups, he got loans that enabled him to increase his stock and diversify his business.

He has also benefited from free financial literacy training from Equity, and got equipped with business management skills.
