Let's chat about the FIRE movement. I learned about the FIRE movement about 3/4 years ago. FIRE stands for gaining financial independence so that you can retire early. There a lot of people that believe in this concept and strive to achieve this every day. It's not a cult or anything major. It's just you personally trying to get out of debt and living a life that will allow you to leave a legacy for your family.

I happened upon the book Choose FI: Your blueprint to financial independence by Chris Mamula, Brad Barrett, Jonathan Mendonsa and it changed the way I think about savings and wealth. The book is so easy to read, understand and follow if you are looking to learn about saving, investing, starting a business and just using your money wisely. I bought this book as birthday presesnts for close family and friends because I believe in it so much. I REALLY believe that if you want to build a healthy relationship with money, want to grow your money or just want to be financially indepenent then this is the first book you should invest in.

The first thing to do when starting to build financial independence is to SAVE MORE THAN YOU MAKE. Once you conquer this concept everything else will fall into place.
