We try all 3 of the local spirits made here in Nepal from millet! We get a personal tour from our host to the local monastery where he went to school and we get the chance to chat to a monk.

We recently left our van in a Romanian airport car park and spontaneously booked flights to Nepal to backpack for a while! Who are we? 💁🏼‍♀️
We're Tom and Iz, a young couple from Cornwall, the UK, who live and travel full time in our van La Bamba. We decided to take a break from the van for a while and go backpacking! We love nature and try to spend as much time as possible wild swimming, hiking and being outdoors! 10 years ago we had a whirlwind summer romance, then went our separate ways to travel and go to university and fast forward 4 years later, we found ourselves back in the same place at the same time as each other and the rest is history.
